David Frederick Gomez is an attorney, arbitrator and meditator who practices in California and Arizona. Mr. Gomez has served employees, employers, and employee organizations in Arizona and California in all areas of labor and employment law, from contract disputes, discrimination and wrongful discharge, to wage and hour issues and matters under the auspices of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). He also provides alternative dispute resolution services.


Mr. Gomez has served as counsel for employer, employee or former employee clients in hundreds of arbitrations and mediations before state and federal court judges and magistrates and before private arbitrators and mediators. He has represented individual employee or employer clients in mediations before EEOC, the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, Civil Rights Division, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.

David has served as a court-appointed arbitrator in Superior Court cases and has also served as a privately appointed arbitrator. He is an Employment Panel Member of the American Arbitration Association.


Mr. Gomez founded and was president of David F. Gomez, P.C. and later, Gomez & Petitti, P.C., a firm exclusively practicing labor and employment law, where he served as head lawyer from 1985 to 2015.
